Tropical Lakeside Villa
MOOI Interior Studio developed this contemporary lakeside villa to create a peaceful residential retreat connected to its natural surroundings. The design combines open living spaces, natural materials, comfortable furniture and carefully framed views to establish a relaxed yet refined atmosphere.
PROJECT CONCEPT
The concept focused on creating a strong relationship between the interior, landscape and lake. Each space was planned to maximise natural light, encourage ventilation and provide a comfortable transition between indoor and outdoor living areas.
- Open-plan living and dining areas create a natural connection with the surrounding landscape.
- Timber, stone and textured finishes introduce warmth, depth and a tropical character.
- Covered terraces, landscaped areas and carefully positioned openings support outdoor living.
The project was developed through space planning, concept development, material selection and photorealistic 3D visualisation. The living room, dining area, bedrooms, outdoor terrace and landscaped surroundings were coordinated to create a consistent design language while allowing each area to respond naturally to its purpose.
A successful lakeside residence should feel connected to its setting without compromising comfort or functionality. By coordinating layout, materials, furniture, lighting, landscaping and architectural detailing, MOOI created a private retreat that feels calm, distinctive and naturally suited to contemporary tropical living.
